Week 6 – One Room Challenge Farm Living Room
Week 6’s focus on our One Room Challenge Farm Living Room was to just KEEP painting. And that’s exactly ALL that happened this week and we’re not even done with it!
Oh my gosh I googled the phrase thinking of finding Nemo and someone else made this! Wow, the internet is awesome.
I don’t think I’ve ever painted so much in my life! And great news, Renan helped fix up some of the walls that had damage and now the accent wall is about 85-90% complete.
The reel REALLY 😉 tells this week’s story best: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CQG2m-zAMDn/
At some point I think it’s going to hit me how cool it is that I created a pattern and essentially a faux wallpaper and took it from my computer screen to the actual walls. But right now I’m just tired of painting! And there’s still more ahead. Additionally, I got a notification that our new couch has shipped!
Here’s an update on the remaining projects in the works.
- Painting the interior doors black.
- Finish priming and painting the wall opposite of the accent wall.
- Order the new curtains and pillow shams.
- Cut in the edges with the Greek Villa white.
- Good clean after the painting is done.
- Select new plant(s) and pot/stand.
- Get furniture pieces we need out of storage and rearrange the room for the final layout.
- Finish touch-ups on the mirror.
- Load in the bookshelf.
- Update & hang mini-gallery wall.
- Possibly attempt swapping out overhead lights.
- Style & organize the finished space.
So lots more ahead in the last two weeks of the One Room Challenge Farm Living Room, but I think the next two will be exciting!
