More from Kaitlyn:
Interior design is close to my heart because it directly impacts how someone feels in a space they encounter everyday. In some ways, you become a part of the spaces that you inhabit most.
Although this is my first year of full time business ownership, I’m incredibly grateful to have completed over 25 spaces with my clients – and counting! To me, designing a room is not about hanging a single piece of art or only adding what’s trendy. Because it has to work for the end user. The space has to make them feel the way they inherently see themselves working and living in perfect harmony. It is not one size fits all. It has to make you happy from its function, not just its appearance.
This is where a designer comes in to help make those dreams a reality.
Being a sole proprietor, I have more flexibility than most to collaborate with clients. That being said, I know a little organization and process can help get you to the blissful moment of calling it “done” faster.
Feel free to click through my portfolio gallery below for a sampling of my recent projects.
My background is in graphic design, but although I love to make things beautiful, it’s better if it solves a problem. Having an extra parameter around the work I do, excites me. Whether that’s a monthly budget, timeline, or working in a family heirloom you currently hate – I’m here for it.
I like to use my tools to help clients visualize spatially and stylistically before making major purchases. I am the queen of “let’s do this all at one time” and have a big, dramatic, HGTV-style reveal.
As a Florida licensed business, I have the opportunity to purchase on the design wholesale market. This helps me find unique items and often creates savings that covers the cost of hiring a designer. This results in higher quality products and holistic design that truly feels transformed.
Ready to Get Started?
So now, I encourage everyone considering working with a designer to ask yourself these four questions:
1) What is the primary problem in the space that you want to resolve?
2) How do you currently feel in your space vs. how you would like to feel?
3) What are 1-5 key images/items that inspire you to make such a transformation?
4) How soon do you need this completed? Are there any key deadlines we should be taking into account?
If you have a space that needs a “jeouge” and you are interested in working with me, please reach out! I’d love to schedule a consultation (virtual or in-person) and send you my new client style questionnaire. My email: firstname.lastname@example.org
