Interior Design Business Mentorship:

Kaitlyn Loos Design is seeking a remote (or local) intern to work for a minimum of 8 weeks from May 2023 through August 2023. 

The Interior Design Business Mentorship is a NEW internship geared towards students interested in the entrepreneurial aspects of starting your own interior design business. This position will be primarily remote, but local candidates may be preferred to help with Ocala interior design projects.

The ideal intern is a dynamic, self-starting, responsible student with interest or studies in interior design, who is eager to learn more about what it takes to bring their skills to market.

This opportunity would allow for a lot of hands-on direct learning and a deeper grasp on how to market, promote, and work with clients. Come ready and open minded to be a part of the strategy behind the interior design. In this internship, you will assist with a variety of tasks that can change from week to week, so it’s ideal that you are resourceful, efficient, and open-minded to assist with these endeavors.

Unlike the other internships presented on this page, the responsibilities may extend to what you see written for ALL positions. By serving as the “right hand man” to Kaitlyn Loos, the goal of this internship by the end, is that you have increased confidence, knowledge, and a general sense of empowerment about the business of interior design.

Logistics:

Looking for remote intern to assist on a variety of internal, public-facing, and client-facing projects approximately of 3-10 hours per week, for a minimum of eight (8) weeks. Start date is flexible.

Internship is unpaid. You must be able to receive college-level credit.

Local Interior Design Assistant

Kaitlyn Loos Design is seeking a local (available to work in Ocala, FL) intern to work for a minimum of 8 weeks from May 2023 through August 2023. 

The Local Interior Design Assistant Internship will be partially remote with scheduled in-person appointments in and near the Ocala area. The ideal intern is a self-starting, responsible student, with a keen eye for design, high adaptability, and a positive attitude. You must have a safe form of transportation that allows you to meet for on-site projects.

The Local Interior Design Assistant Intern will have ample opportunities to learn more about the business side of interior design, and will be highly valued for their hands-on assistance on various projects.

Logistics:

Looking for intern to assist on a variety of internal, public-facing, and client-facing projects approximately of 3-10 hours per week, for a minimum of eight (8) weeks. Start date is flexible. Position is a hybrid of remote and in-person by appointment as directed by Kaitlyn Loos.

Remote Audio Visual Intern:

Kaitlyn Loos Design is seeking a remote intern to work for a minimum of 8 weeks from May 2023 through August 2023. 

The ideal intern is a self-starting, responsible student with a keen eye and ear for creative video and audio editing.

Since video and audio content is becoming more and more important to catch the attention of potential clients, we’re seeking a resourceful, efficient, and forward-thinking intern to assist with these endeavors. In this internship, you will assist with converting/editing video to audio formats, creating compelling short-form video, and assisting with brand video content.

This opportunity would allow for a lot of hands-on direct learning and portfolio-building projects. 

Overview of responsibilities: 

• Creating a new podcast series by converting and editing existing video
  
• Brainstorm & collaborate on content for Instagram reels
  
• Creatively edit brand video content for online platforms

Must have:

• Video editing experience
  
• Audio editing experience
  
• Some knowledge of social media video trends and best practices
  
• Availability to meet every other week on Zoom

Looking for remote intern to work on 2-5 audio/visual projects per week for approximately of 3-10 hours per week, for a minimum of eight (8) weeks. Start date is flexible.

Remote Online Business Manager:

Kaitlyn Loos Design is seeking a remote intern to work for a minimum of 8 weeks from May 2023 through August 2023. 

The ideal intern is a self-starting, responsible student who is resourceful and organized.

The role of the Online Business Manager Intern is to assist Kaitlyn Loos Design in a wide variety of online spaces.

With video and audio content is becoming more and more important to catch the attention of potential clients, experience in this area is very helpful as well! In this internship, you will assist with a variety of creative and strategic tasks online.

This opportunity would allow for experience with online problem solving and hands-on training.

Overview of responsibilities: 

• Meet every other week on Zoom
  
• Assist with research, content creation, and creating efficiencies
  
• Assist with online marketing and SEO
  
• Create standard operating procedures for various project types

Nice to have:

The ideal intern is a self-starting, responsible student who is skilled in writing and presenting ideas.

The role of the Remote Blog Writer Intern is to help develop, write, edit, and update blog content for KaitlynLoos.com.

This opportunity would allow for hands-on training and building a writing portfolio.

Overview of responsibilities: 

• Meet every other week on Zoom
  
• Brainstorm & draft blog content
  
• Edit & finish blog content based on current processes
  
• Proactively update copy on previous web pages and blog posts
